Tell David Vitter: Stand With Small Businesses
David Vitter had the opportunity to show that he's on the side of small businesses and the many Louisianians who are trying to make ends meet during this economic downturn, but instead voted against a bipartisan, deficit-neutral job creation bill that will provide billions in tax breaks for small businesses to spur hiring.
David Vitter is on record supporting every single component of this bill, yet he still voted against it. Help us show Vitter that Louisianians are sick and tired of this sort of partisan point-scoring and want our representatives to support small businesses by signing the petition below!
PETITION TEXT:
I strongly oppose your recent vote against the Senate's bipartisan, deficit-neutral job creation bill. This legislation will provide billions in needed tax incentives to small businesses to spur hiring.
If a bill will help Louisiana, you should support it -- regardless of which party introduced it. I urge you to change your ways and start supporting small businesses and job creation now.
